Christiansborg
Christiansborg is the center of power in Denmark. It is home to the Parliament, Prime Minister's Department and the Supreme Court. Christiansborg also features the Christiansborg Palace. The palace was built between 1907 and 1923 and features a Baroque style as designed by architect Thorvald Jorgensen. Behind the castle are stables, riding grounds, and a statue of Christian IX created by Anne Marie Carl Nielsen. The statue is considered on of the most beautiful of the city. Several other palaces have called Christiansborg home including the Castle of Copenhagen and the Classical Christianborg. Christiansborg is a spectacular location with beautiful sites for all to enjoy.
